Rhana Gittens is a PhD candidate in Communication at Georgia State University. Her research explores the rhetoric of social movements, specifically in regard to 21st century social movements and their intersection with critical race studies and religion. Rhana received her bachelors in Journalism and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Florida. She has worked in corporate project management for more than 4 years. She is also interested in studying rhetorical strategies as it relates to organizations and how they communicate with diverse networks.
